Each Sunday afternoon, prior to our evening meal, Bread of Life hosts a chapel service for the homeless in our community. Our guests are welcomed into a place where they feel at home to enjoy a time of worship and Biblical teaching. Typically a pastor or layperson from the same church providing the evening meal will also coordinate this chapel time. This is a great opportunity to not only share God's grace and love but to interact and build relationships with those living on the street who desperately need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The homeless community is truly a mission field in our own backyard!

At Bread of Life one of our theme verses is Isaiah 61:1 "The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." We ask that guest speakers keep this verse in mind as they prepare their message and that they limit their presentations to the basic message of Salvation through Jesus Christ. You are encouraged to invite our guests to your home church for additional teaching.
